ABOUT GILLES

Hello, I’m Gilles, an independent illustrator and merch designer based just outside London in the UK.

If you’ve arrived here from a convention, a social post, or after stopping by my table, welcome, I’m really glad you’re here.

I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember, and over time that passion grew into the full-time creative path I’m on today. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to work with established pop-culture platforms such as TeeFURY, Qwertee, and RIPT Apparel, as well as create licensed artwork for properties including My Little Pony and Littlest Pet Shop. Those experiences helped shape how I approach my work, balancing creativity with craftsmanship, consistency, and care.

Today, my focus is firmly rooted in the convention scene. I design and produce T-shirts, pins, and merchandise inspired by the fandoms I love, alongside developing my own original IP, the Cubbieverse. It’s a soft, colourful world centred on kindness, self-acceptance, and personal growth, values that quietly influence much of what I create.

You may also know me from The Convention Creatives podcast, where I share honest conversations about Artist Alley life, running a creative business, and the people who make the convention community what it is. The podcast has become an important extension of my work, giving space to experiences that often go unseen behind the table.

Everything I make is the result of years of learning, persistence, and showing up, even when things were uncertain. I care deeply about the quality of my work and the people who support it, whether you’re discovering my art for the first time or have been following my journey for years.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and for being part of this journey. Your support genuinely means the world.
